GKC Summer Camp - July 21 thru July 25, 2008 - This Camp is now Full

If you are looking for a unique experience for your child, GKC Summer Camp is a must. Our camps pack a whole host of unique, challenging, enjoyable, educational, and exciting activities. That's why we often hear from our attendees that "it is the best camp ever." Not only that, but because Sensei Michelle and Sensei Paul oversee each activity personally, the attendees feel secure and safe. As one attendee stated recently after attending the 2007 camp "...this is the best camp I've ever been to...everyone is friendly and polite and there are no bullies..."

Camp enrollment is limited so reserve your spot early.

Junior Black Belt Test - 3/1/08 thru 8/17/08

The culmination of a 6 month intensive preparation period for testing canditates. Dedicated students must monitor their nutrition, follow an at home fitness program, perform "acts of kindness and service," and complete a written test before even being allowed to step onto the floor for testing day. These requirements showcase the holistic approach we teach here at the Goju Karate Center; leading students to develop in to disciplined, compassionate, and healthy well-rounded members of society, as well as great martial artists.

    Trip to Okinawa - November 1-16, 2008
Senseis Paul and Michelle, and a number of students will be attending the Miyazato Memorial in Okinawa. (Hanshi) Miyazato Sensei (one of the greatest karate masters of his time) passed away in 1999. He invited Sensei Paul to represent the Jundokan here in California. Hence, Goju Karate Center is one of the key Jundokan dojos here in the US. Those interested in attending should contact Sensei Paul.
