The GOLD Team (GKC's black belt club leadership team) and GKC put on a special event which benefited students, in the form of fun activities, and parents, who got three hours to themselves to finish holiday shopping or just to hang out and relax. Students participated in a karate class that included board breaking (real wooden boards), in addition to fun events such as the high jump, relay races, and speed drills. All the events were planned and implemented by the GOLD team who did an exceptional job of explaining and running these events.
